Order a Custom Portrait from My Shiny New Site! ($50 Off Your First Portrait!)
February 2, 2012 By Danielle Leave a Comment
It’s true that I adore all things design, but illustration is my absolute true love. If I could illustrate custom portraits and paint robots for the rest of my life I would die a happy gal, so I launched a website to promote my freelance illustration endeavors—CustomPortraitsandIllustration.com—designed and coded by yours truly.
Want a portrait of your pet? Let’s do it. What about an illustration of your wife sitting on a corvette? Sure! Don’t forget about children’s portraiture. I will draw anyone doing anything.
To celebrate the launch of my site, I am running a portrait promotion until 02/27/2012—Receive $50 Off Your First Custom Portrait if you order before the end of February. To get this illustration discount, mention that you saw the offer on my blog.
Turn your favorite photo into a piece of art, order your custom digital portrait—awesomeness 100% guaranteed.
Affordable Web Design that Looks Awesome
October 24, 2011 By Danielle Leave a Comment
A few years ago I worked as an in-house designer and copywriter for one of those website factories. The business model was successful; however, their output was less than satisfactory. As both a web designer and programmer, I’m going to take what I learned from working there and apply it to my own small-scale, one-woman web design company. Hopefully within the next month or so, I’ll be launching YourCustomWebDesigner.com–a place for anyone to get a website of any size at a price they can afford. There will be a selection of customizable base templates, as well as an option to request a fully customized, built-from-scratch site. More to come the further this is developed.

My submission to the Adventure Time t-shirt design contest hosted by Threadless and Cartoon Network. If you’re familiar with design basics in the sightest, you’ll notice that it’s a play on the Pantone Matching System. Sadly, I did not win. It’s hard to get votes when your target audience is so specific, but I don’t mind—it was fun to make.
Random Thoughts
another graphic designer with a blog
I’ve made so many niche blogs for showcasing my illustrations, posting the random photos I take gallivanting about NYC, and talking about design projects throughout the past few years and I just had a moment of clarity–why not just make a blog for all of it? So here I am, making yet another blog. Hopefully [...]
